Volleyball in middle school is a fun and energetic sport where students learn teamwork, communication, and coordination. It’s a great way for students to stay active, improve their skills in serving, passing, and spiking, and develop sportsmanship. Middle school volleyball emphasizes both individual growth and collaboration, making it a perfect opportunity to build friendships and confidence while competing in a positive, supportive environmen

My name is Janet Castro. I teach P.E. at Truman, and truly enjoy coaching Volleyball. I encourage all students to try out for the team and even consider joining our Volleyball club during the offseason.
Middle school volleyball players should join a volleyball club to further develop their skills, gain more playing experience, and deepen their understanding of the game. Club volleyball offers additional practice time, advanced coaching, and the opportunity to compete at a higher level, helping players improve their technique and teamwork. It’s also a great way to meet other students who share a passion for the sport, build lasting friendships, and stay active in a supportive and challenging environment outside of school practices and games
